Der Minimal-Folk von Triska ist gewissermaßen wie ein Buch von John Irving oder ein Film von Woody Allan: komisch und traurig zugleich.
Dabei agieren die beiden ebenso nachdenklich wie poetisch immer wieder aber auch ausgelassen und fröhlich. Leise unterhaltend ist das in jedem Fall, definitiv entschleunigt und dabei immer höchst gefühlvoll. Neugierig sind sie und zuweilen introvertiert und ganz und gar aus der Zeit gefallen klingt das, was manch einer „faszinierend“ (Musikexpress), „wunderschön“ (Rolling Stone), „groß, bescheiden“ (noch mal Hamburger Morgenpost) mindestens aber „von hoher künstlerischer Relevanz“ (Eclipsed) nennt.

Fred Raspail is a one man band french singer songwriter. He’s been playin for ten years all over France, working with the famous agency PBOX (nouvelle vague, mickey 3D…) and for some years he’s exporting successfully his music to other countries. After touring Quebec several times between 2003 and 2007, he’s actually working since 2011 on tours all over Europe. He is marrying in his songs french expression and a kind of wild folk: audiences are quickly seduced by this way of being, keeping a french touch to a rock’n’roll music… Being alone on stage allows him to play in every condition: on huge stages with famous French singers (Zenith Zaz’s 2011 tour for example where he played for example at Tony Garnier Lyon, in front of over 5000 people) on living room shows with the most minimal technical conditions and in front of the smallest audiences ever…
