The idea that Europe is the center of the world is one that is prevalent today as it ever was. What are the challenges and limits against Eurocentrism in the fields of art and knowledge making? How can we collectively decenter eurocentrism in our practices?
This event is part of our Artist Lab «collective (un)learning spaces» in which we invite 10 BI*POC artists, cultural workers and producers to take part in a series of interdisciplinary «collective (un)learning spaces». During the first 3 days we aim for a «safer space» that empowers and provides conditions for different approaches and creative exchange.
While the first part of the Artist Lab involves a series of closed workshops, we invite everybody to join us on the final, when we try to take our collective experiences and step out of our «safer space» and into a dialog with the public.
