With Human-in-the-loop, the visual and performing arts come together in an experimental format. Across three artist sessions, the project creates an open space for improvisation, perception and collaborative exploration. Artists from different disciplines work together to shape a programme centred on the question of how visual art forms can be translated into movement, voice, and physical expression. New forms of dialogue develop between body, sound, and visual impulses – within a safe space, in a relaxed atmosphere, and open to spontaneity.
The project is part of the Bayerische Staatsoper’s <30 OPEN LAB and is open to everyone aged 16 and over, free of charge, regardless of prior experience or artistic background.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Soft dance shoes are welcome, but you can also join barefoot.
Sessions are held in English, with German translation available. All languages are welcome.
